We don’t normally discuss client work here on the blog, but this week has been so incredible, we thought we would share a little about what has been happening at AHA.

Working with our client, Tourism New Zealand (TNZ), we had two high profile projects that certainly had our office hopping this week. Our phones were ringing, emails arriving, and requests were coming in nonstop.

Canadian teen pop star Justin Bieber was in New Zealand for approximately 10 hours this week. He performed an acoustic set at Strathallan School in Auckland and bungy jumped at Auckland Bridge Bungy. We were fortunate enough to be able to pitch media with images of the star doing both activities.

“America’s Next Top Model” (ANTM) has also helped to put the spotlight on New Zealand recently. The hit TV show taped three episodes in NZ – watch for the next airings on May 5 and 12 in Canada on A Channel and in the U.S. on CW. We pitched media with a joint news release by Tourism New Zealand, Air New Zealand and ANTM with images and a YouTube video.

Our client Rhino Marketing Inc. also kept things moving in the AHA office. Rhino is the sponsor for The Playoff Show on Canucks.com and has a strong presence in GM Place on the rink boards and video board. With the Canucks heading into the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, things are only going to get more exciting!

We had lots of fun connecting with media across the country and are still busy trying to identify all the coverage that was generated. We’re looking forward to what next week will bring.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

When the phones are ringing and the emails are coming in fast and furious from the media, it’s a whole lot of fun!!
